Placement overview:
*PLEASE NOTE: NEW ASSESSMENT TIMES WILL BE AVAILABLE ONCE REGISTRATION FOR THE UPCOMING QUARTER IS GETTING CLOSER.*
NEW STUDENTS: If you have prior experience, please sign up for a phone assessment here. (5-10 minute phone call with Amanda). To give you an idea of the level of each course, take a look at the assessment questions below that you may be asked during the call. ¡Gracias!
RETURNING STUDENTS: If you took a course in within the last 3-6 months, make sure you can answer the questions to enter the next course; if you answer them easily, feel free to register without a phone assessment. If you are unsure of your level, it is best to complete a phone assessment.
ASSESSMENTS NOT NEEDED IF YOU ARE A BEGINNER WITH LITTLE TO NO EXPERIENCE. In that case, you'll start with Spanish 101.
Before you have your placement call, take a look at the questions below to get an idea of what your level might be; in order to be ready for the specified level, not only do you need to understand what the questions say, but you need to be able to answer them outloud. These are examples of questions you will be asked during the placement call.
